Geo Parameter Options List

The geo parameter of the Google Trends API accepts a Google location code. Use the reference below to find the code for the country, region, or metro area you want to target.

Geo codes

Geo codes follow the ISO-style hierarchy used by Google Trends. Country codes are two letters, while regions and metros are dot-separated (for example US-CA for California, US-CA-807 for the San Francisco metro).

Note

The complete list covers every country Google Trends supports, plus subregions and metros for most of them. If a code does not return results, the combination of geo and region may not be supported for the timeframe you requested.
