Is there a free trial?
Section titled “Is there a free trial?”No free trial, but every plan includes a 3-day money-back guarantee as long as you have used less than 50% of the bandwidth allocation.
What protocols are supported?
Section titled “What protocols are supported?”HTTP(S) and SOCKS5. All run on port 443 at p.shifter.io.
How many concurrent connections can I open?
Section titled “How many concurrent connections can I open?”Unlimited on every plan. The new traffic model retired per-port thread caps.
Are any sites or categories blocked?
Section titled “Are any sites or categories blocked?”Yes. To keep the pool clean, we block traffic to banking portals, government services, explicit adult content, and most mailing (SMTP) destinations. If a site you need is blocked, contact support. Many cases can be whitelisted after review.
Do you allow SMTP?
Section titled “Do you allow SMTP?”No. Outbound SMTP is blocked across the entire network and there are no exceptions.
What happens when my plan runs out of bandwidth?
Section titled “What happens when my plan runs out of bandwidth?”Overage is automatically billed from your wallet at the same per-GB rate as your plan. Top up your wallet in the panel under Billing → Wallet and requests keep flowing past your monthly allocation. If the wallet balance hits zero, requests return an error until you top up or the next billing cycle starts.
Can I keep the same IP for a long time?
Section titled “Can I keep the same IP for a long time?”Use sticky sessions by adding a sid-<id> flag to the username, optionally with ttl-<seconds> to extend the default 120-second lifetime. For IPs pinned 24/7, use ISP Proxies instead.
What is the difference between residential proxies and ISP proxies?
Section titled “What is the difference between residential proxies and ISP proxies?”Rotating gives you a fresh IP per request across a 205M+ pool, ideal for scraping, monitoring, and SERP. ISP proxies pin a fixed IP to your account with unlimited bandwidth, ideal for account management, long sessions, and whitelisted access.
