테스트 중 온라인 상태였던 실시간 IP
Distinct IPs each network had live and reachable at test time, not the size of its total network. Residential IPs rotate all day, so both providers serve far more addresses across 24 hours.

How we measured this
Each request opened its own connection through the provider's rotating residential gateway and read the exit address back from an IP echo service. One connection per request means one fresh exit per request, so distinct addresses map directly to the reachable pool.
Both providers received identical volumes in each market, 250,000 requests in the United States, 100,000 in the United Kingdom, 80,000 in France, 70,000 in Canada and 60,000 in Germany, at the same concurrency of 1,000, the same 10 second timeout and the same target, tested from a single server one provider at a time.
Proxy-Seller issues a separate credential pair per country rather than taking a country parameter on one gateway, so each market ran against its own sub-account.
What these numbers mean
Every count on this page is the number of IPs that were live and reachable at the time of the test, not the size of either provider's network. Residential IPs rotate constantly as real devices come online and drop off, so across a full day both networks serve far more addresses than a single window can capture. What limits a crawl is how many respond at the same moment, which is what this measures.
사용하는 이유 Shifter 레지덴셜 프록시?
A larger live pool in four of five markets
19% more in France and Germany, 15% more in the United Kingdom, ahead in Canada, measured in the same windows against the same target.
Wider network spread in every market
1,606 US networks against 1,227, 148 French against 48, 276 German against 153. Anti-bot systems key on the network an address sits on, so spread does more than raw count.
66% less per GB
$0.75 against $2.20. Proxy-Seller's rate stops falling at 50 GB, while Shifter's keeps descending, so the gap widens with volume.
One gateway for every country
Shifter targets any of 195+ countries by parameter on a single set of credentials. Proxy-Seller issues a separate account per country, which is more to buy and more to wire up.
자주 묻는 질문
Common questions about how we benchmarked Proxy-Seller.
In the United States, by 2.4%: 139,933 live IPs against Shifter's 136,667 in the same window. It is the only market in this pairing where they came out ahead on raw count, and we are not going to hide it. Shifter led the other four and reached more networks in all five.
Close in three markets and clearly apart in two. Shifter answered in 364 ms against 644 ms in the United States and 324 ms against 703 ms in Canada. In the United Kingdom, France and Germany the two medians sat within 70 ms of each other.
Because this is the number of IPs live at the time of the test, not a total. Advertised pools count every address a network has ever seen. Residential IPs rotate all day, so both providers serve far more across 24 hours.
Five: the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Canada and Germany, run back to back on the same machine with identical request volumes for both providers in each market.
Comparable coverage, a third of the cost
A live pool that led in four of five markets, spread across more networks in every one, at $0.75 per GB. Test both on your own targets.
